This whole separate about pages thing was my idea since we’ve been blogging for so long now. We can’t expect new readers to go through every single post in the archives to get a full picture of us, so I thought it might be best if we painted little verbal portraits here.
To start, I’ll just come out and say that I’m a massive nerd. I have a weekly Dungeons and Dragons group, love going to all the local conventions and know all about the latest video games. At the moment I’m playing Jedi: Fallen Order which is incredible. I haven’t had this much fun with a video game in a long time.
My infant daughter, Camellia, is the light of my life. She’s a genuine joy and every second I spend with her is time well used. Her first words were “Darth Vader”, which is seriously awesome. I guess I’ve had Star Wars on while looking after her a little too much. Her favourite character seems to be Rey, which is no surprise since she’s pretty cool. I like all the Star Wars movies, including the prequels and sequels. Don’t hate on me.
For work, I’m a researcher at a university, although I’m not allowed to say which one or what I research. It’s top secret. But I’ve got a PhD in astrophysics, so you can probably guess what I’m up to. As I’m writing this, Jacinta and I have about $12,000,000 in crypto, but we’re holding out before withdrawing any of it. At the moment, we’ve got enough to get by, since all my actual work money goes toward our family. It’s only our mobile home side-business that puts money into digital currencies.
I’m also working on a sci-fi epic, but I’m not sure if it’ll go anywhere. It’s just a hobby for now.
